What is LTIF — and why did you develop it?
LTIF (Large foot print TLIF) is a surgical technique I developed after recognising that existing approaches had limitations for a specific subset of complex lumbar cases. LTIF combines lateral access with transforaminal decompression — giving the patient the benefits of both approaches simultaneously. It is one of my original contributions to the field of MIS spine surgery, and reflects my commitment to continuously improving patient outcomes.

When does back pain become dangerous — and when should I see a doctor urgently?
Seek urgent medical attention if your back pain is accompanied by: loss of bladder or bowel control, sudden weakness or numbness in both legs, pain after a fall or trauma, or pain that is severe, constant, and worsening at night. These can signal serious conditions like cauda equina syndrome or spinal cord compression, which require immediate attention. Do not wait.
